Like most visitors to Istanbul, I presumed I was crossing from Europe to Asia when I walked across the bridge linking Sultanahmet with Galata. Not so… It’s only taken me five trips to work out the location of the REAL Bosphorus bridge and the infamous Ortaköy Mosque:
