Gardens by the Bay, Singapore

We had time before our flight to check out the new Gardens by the Bay on the waterfront in Singapore, featuring two of my favourite things… rare plants and insane architecture! How can you go wrong?

We arrived early and were quite literally the first ones through the door, which allowed us to get some happy snaps without being photo-bombed by the hordes of school children that were hot on our heels. The first bio-dome contains plants from arid locations around the world, such as boabs and cacti. The second is a tropical paradise, featuring carnivorous pitcher plants and a 10-storey-high indoor waterfall. Awesome.
